    Saudi Arabian Business Council of Australia launches its business in the Australian city of Melbourne
     
    Saudi Ambassadorin AustraliaNabil Mohammed Al-Saleh assures on the importance of strengthening trade and economic relations between the United Kingdom and Australia, beside the activation of relations between businessmen and trade interests and economic sectors in both countries.
    This came during an official reception on Thursday evening, the joint Australian-Saudi Arabian Business Council in cooperation with the Government of the Australian State of Victoria on the occasion of the inauguration of the Council's work in the investment center in Melbourne Australia.
    The Ambassador welcomed the establishment of the Saudi Business Council of Australia, which was the signing of a memorandum of understanding to the line up during the ninth session of the joint Saudi Committee meetings held in the Australian capital Canberra in March this year.
    The Ambassador spoke in favor of the development of the Saudi economy and the leading position in the region and the world beside he spoke about the kingdom as one of the strongest economies of the world in the development and economic revival, highlighting the opportunities of bilateral joint economic and investment between the United Kingdom and Australia particularly in the areas of education, food security, health, markets, mining, agriculture, renewable energy and services, stressing the importance of building economic partnerships between the two countries in various fields.
    The Minister of technical and aviation industry in the Australian State of Victoria Gordon Phillips hailed the development of relations between the two countries, expressing his Government's desire to promote relations with the Kingdom, and theChairman ofSaudi Arabian Business CouncilofAustraliaTom Harley praised the economic Kingdom site and its leading role in the world, stressing the importance of Australian-Saudi Arabian Business Council as a result of ongoing efforts to strengthen economic and cultural ties between the two friendly countries, and he welcomed the high volume investments between the two countriesand the increase inthenumberofstudentson scholarshipsinAustralianuniversities. The ceremony was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of development, trade and innovation's mandate, the Commissioner Howard Ronaldson Victoria body for industry and investment in the Middle East and North Africa, John Butler, President of the Australian Arabic Chamber of Commerce Ronald Jabbour, adding to a large group of corporate leaders and business leaders representing different sectors of the economy, trade and industry in Australia.
